Programme

The main theme of this year’s Rituals of Dance, Music and Fire is intention and working with it. During this four-day workshop, you will be able – through live music, dance and fire – to recognize and tune your intention. And most importantly – group techniques will support the materialization of intention in our lives.

Each day we will gradually develop intention, as follows:

Thursday: Welcome, settle in, get ready, dive in

Friday: Quest and re-connection to our inner strengths

Saturday: Consolidation and strengthening of our intention

Sunday: Friendship, Community, Support

More about some workshops

Trance Dance

During Trance Dance we are connecting with all cycles of life, death and rebirth, with the heritage of our ancestors, with archetypal emotions in broad spectrum from ecstasy to fight…which helps to release stagnating and jammed energy. When our body gets into a healing movement and self-expression by sound, which has no rules or limitations and is not controlled, we can shake off all bondage to the past as well as future expectations and is experiencing only the present moment. We can get into a trance state and our ancient power awakens. This power is present in all of us and when awake, it brings spiritual shift, healing and wholeness to our existence. Trance Dance is using methods to occupy the mind so that the Spirit can manifest and we can get into a state beyond the usual sensory perception, beyond the usual ways of behaviour, customs, projections, rational analyses or inherited beliefs.

Soul hunting

One of the most simple and powerful ways of trauma healing. Soulhunting is based on the understanding, that at any time a shock occurs in our life – may it be physical, mental orspiritual – that very part of our soul that is involved, diappears, hides, crumbles, because it is Incapable to deal with the pain.

Thus we fetch holes in our being, since these parts are missing. See the empty faces of people involved in tragedies and wars, Some of them are left almost without any soul…

To become whole again, we have to invite these parts back into our life, into our being (or someone has to do it for you). The scared hidden part(s) of the soul often appear as “hurt little children” that need to be invited, seduced, allured – to be convinced that they are save now and that we can care about them. We invoke the sound of the double drum to send you on the inner journey, lying down on the back, searching and inviting the missing soul parts.

Shamanic Journey

The shamanic journey is in some ways very similar to a TranceDance experience. You go on an inner journey to find answers, healing, clarity, guidance – only this time you lay down on your back, in a safe, cosy environment, and you use the sound of the shaman’s drum to travel inside or outside yourself. The drum is your vehicle to go on a journey. Again we use the blindfold, the breath of fire and the intention and search for our answers.

Rhythm Massage

Music, drumming and rhythm are an intrinsic part of our ancient social healing capabilities. Many people are responding very strong to rhythmical tapping and soft slapping on their bodies. Besides deep tissue work and strokes, this kind of touch is helping the body to relax and let go of tension and opens the senses on many levels.

Soundhealing Ceremony

Since more than 5 thousand years, ancient traditions of Tibet, Nepal, China and India are using sounds for healing purposes. They build special instruments to harmonize our bodies and senses with sound-waves, vibration and resonance. Besides a great variety of Sound bowls and bells we use certain string instruments, drums didgeridoo and other instruments to create a soft and soothing soundscape. Our bodies are sensing sound-waves not only with our ears, but also the bones, the skin and the very high frequent overtones with our cells…
